Our Service Projects
Christmas Food Baskets
Byesville Rotary provides Christmas Food Baskets to 150-200 families in the Rolling Hills School District. Club members commit to providing two boxes of food--one each of perishable and non-perishable items including a turkey. This project insures each family has enough food to provide a Christmas dinner and several good meals to start the new year.
Scholarships
Byesville Rotary provides three scholarships to seniors graduating from Meadowbrook High School. A fourth scholarship is awarded to a Meadowbrook student attending Mid East Technical and Career Center Buffalo Campus. Scholarships are $1000 each. Donations can be made to the Byesville Rotary Foundation.
End Polio Now
Rotary International is working to eradicate polio worldwide. Since 1988, we've seen a worldwide reduction in polio cases of 99.9%. For more than three years, we've seen wild polio cases in only two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Byesville Rotarians are part of this effort to make the world healthier and safer for kids.
